The Mitel 5201 IP Phone addresses a new segment of the market, meeting the need for entry-level desktop IP phones. The 5201 IP Phone is a low cost, single port telephone. Working across the Mitel 3300 and SX-200 IP Communications Platforms (ICP), this IP Phone provides increased choice and flexibility to the user.
The new Mitel 5212 IP Phone supports both SIP and Mitel IP (MiNET) protocols on a single hardware platform. This dual port, multi-line display IP speakerphone provides user-programmable access to the features and applications enabled by Mitel IP-based IP Communications Platforms (ICPs). The 5212 IP Phone provides intuitive user access to more sophisticated call handling and converged applications supported by the Mitel ICPs. It is ideal as a teleworker or an ACD agent phone.
Designed for the enterprise power-user, the new Mitel® 5224 IP Phone provides robust features and functionality needed for today’s progressive enterprise professional. The 5224 IP Phone is dual mode, dual port with a multi-line display and provides users fast and easy access to the features and applications enabled by Mitel IP Communications Platforms (ICPs). Mitel’s 5235 IP Phone is a full-feature enterprise-class telephone that provides voice communication over an IP network. It features a large, backlit touch-screen and provides users with real-time access to applications and services such as web browsing, directory management and visual voice mail. Mitels 5550 IP Console is an advanced PC-based console and administration application with a highly intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) that includes screen-based call status and call handling prompts, real-time Busy Lamp Field (BLF) status, plus telephony keypad and dual handset / headset jacks for fast, efficient attendant call handling on the Mitel 3300 IP Communications Platforms (ICPs).
With the integration of Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 and the 5550 IP Console, attendants can quickly compose and send an email containing a predefined message to a specific user who is listed in either the Phone Book or BLF panel views, allowing for much more efficient and accurate message taking. The User Messaging enhancements include features for monitoring the presence of users as well as the ability to send Instant Messages (IM) from the 5550 IP Console.
